I have been going to this nail salon. Since they opened this location.I went last week for a gel manicure and the color that I picked , was horrible I had bubbles and strokes all over my nails when she finished my nails.The manager had then told me to choose another color and I did she filed the first layer off and added the new color on. I didn't want to make it so difficult for her so I agreed to it. In the end the outlook was a bit messy the other color was peeking threw and my nails literally chipped all off within 3 days ! Horrible experience worst gel mani I have ever gotten and the Manager on the ave p location was no help!Unfortunately I will no longer be giving my business to this salon! Read Less

Love me some Element! First of all, the Decour is phenomenal. I'm not going to compare this to other nail salons in Brooklyn, because it should not even belong in the same category. This is more like a spa. Sure, prices are close to double when compared to prices for other services in Brooklyn. But those other services and salons don't even come close. Everything is super clean and organized. Chic is one way to describe the decor. You're getting amazing service and very high-quality products used on yourself. made an appointment for 12pm today, admittedly I came in a little bit early, but that was to make sure they remembered my appointment. turns out they didn't, they had the pedicure bays full, and all the girls were busy with other people that had walked in without appointment (and I know this because when they checked the appointment book for my name it was completely empty before and after me for at least 2hours either side) so after waiting 40mins for them to pay attention t...o me sitting in a chair, they tried telling me the shellac colour I got on my hands a few days earlier was a totally different colour than what it actually was (pretty sure a flat grey-blue is not the same as the black with purple and blue metallic I had) I usually go to an entirely different shop in an area further away for me, I figured I'd give the new local shop a go. But after today, I won't ever be coming back and neither will any of my family or friends. their lack of care for clients and rude attitude have lost them numerous potential frequent clients Edit: IT GOT EVEN BETTER! the stupid cows there then tried to over charge me at the end! and when I question it, they give me a mouthful of attitude saying "it's more for me" because I got my hands done on a different day?! haha what a load of sh*t! not in a million f*cking years would anyone I know ever f*cking go to your shop you stupid pieces of sh*t! My sister and I had an appointment at 10am today but when we got there they said 10min wait. The ended up taking me after around 15 mins but my poor sister had to wait 50mins!!! The whole point was to have the pedicures together and then get some lunch. I ended up taking my 2 year old nephew to lunch on my own as he was getting restless after waiting the 50mins with my sister. When I asked about a discount the lady said she can't give more than $5 and that they can't always s...tick to the appointment times because of people getting manicures, waxing etc. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! 15mins wait is fine but 50 mins is unacceptable when you have made an appointment. The frustrating thing is that they kept taking walkins or telling people to come back in 30 mins knowing that they couldn't service them when they returned. The same clients were asked to come back in another 15 mins. We chose to go there because of the great reviews on Hills District Mum's but had a really bad experience and will not be going back or recommending them to others! See More Read Less

What a horror on Friday morning! Made appointment for gel mani (that takes here 40 minutes) 2 days in advance for 10 am. I come in at 10:04 and they make me wait 23 minutes. Instead of who I requested (Ling) owner (per her description) Hanna starts my mani without any apology. I told them I have to be out at 10:45 not to be late at work. No excuses no apologies just brutal You Were Late. I said i was 4 minutes late. So everyone is busy and there are clients waiting, they are clearly overbooked (how greedy of a business), owner starts filing with constantly looking away checking whats going kn around, there are clients complaining at the front desk who just want to purchase Gift Certificates and no one available to dk it, she is clearly nervous. She asked "how you want it filed"- "rounded" and she makes it completely round, like my little nail looks like tiny small circle of keratin. She finishes filing 1 hand and I ask her "what is this? Do you like how it looks?". I had to run away. By the time i spent 23 mins waiting and 3 minutes in the chair I knew - never again. I have had SNS nail applications at another salon...who were amazing don't get me wrong....however I couldn't get in this week and thought I'd give Beautie Nails a go as per great reviews on FB. I just saw Cindy and OMG the shape is perfect and she had the best attention to detail. Yes she was super fast, but she still made sure they were perfect and I was happy. Definitely an expert. She also gave my son a chocolate and another staff member came and wiped his nose as my hands were out of action. Can't recommend this new salon enough! I am pretty fussy and I am in love! It doesn't feel like a production line & it's a little oasis on Ave P. I wouldn't expect a salon like this to be in this area, but I'm sure glad that it is! Maria ROCKS!!!!!
