If you think all luxury cars are the same, you're obviously not rich. The ridiculously wealthy love to buy rare, collectible cars, but when they just want something new, here's what they get.

You've never seen a fancier car than the Lykan Hypersport. The speedy supercar is the first automobile to have diamonds embedded to the headlights. The Lykan Hypersport has exactly 420 diamonds, in fact, and it can reach a top speed of 239 mph. It was recently featured in the action film "Furious 7."

This Swedish-made sports car is capable of such incredible speed that the makers limit its zippiness to 235 mph...unless the new owner signs a waiver. When the restriction is removed, the Agera R can hit a top speed of 273 mph.

The Phantom Drophead Coupe is the most expensive Rolls-Royce on the market. The convertible luxury car comes with a V12 engine and a six-speed automatic transmission, and can be customized with more than 44,000 color combinations.

One of the most expensive Lamborghinis on the market is the Aventador. The luxurious Italian sports car can reach 62 mph in 2.9 seconds. If you've got the deep pockets for it, upgrade to the convertible version, which starts at a cool $441,600.

Patience will be key for anyone who buys the Aventador. The wait list is said to be at least 12 months long.

Make sure to buckle your seatbelt once you're inside the Porsche 918 Spyder. The hybrid sports car starts at $845,000.

The 918 Spyder became the first series production street-legal car to break the seven-minute mark at the Nurburgring Nordschleife.

The Grand Sport Vitesse installment of the Bugatti Veyron is so fast that it is electronically restricted to 233 mph on normal roads.

The GT Speed version of the Continental is the Bentley's ultimate two-door coupe. The powerful car has 626 horsepower and a 605 pound-feet of torque. Bentley has said that the Continental GT Speed rockets to a top speed of 206 mph.

Introduced in 2006, the Audi R8 is still turning heads on the road. This particular R8 boasts a 5.2-liter V10 engine, with a seven-speed S Tronic dual-clutch transmission.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom is slightly less expensive than the Drophead Coupe version. Of course, the Phantom comes equipped with its signature suicide doors, which can be closed with just a click of a button.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is one of the many celebrities to own a Phantom.

The SLS AMG Coupe was already one of Mercedes-Benz's most well-built cars, and then it got even better by upgrading to a supercar with the Black Series iteration. The Black Series has increased engine power, while lowering the car's weight by 150 pounds. The Black Series supercar's speed tops out at 196 mph.

Celebrity owners of the Black Series include comedian Kevin Hart and Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander.

Some might remember the Aston Martin Vanquish from the James Bond flick "Die Another Day." The current Vanquish is equipped with a V12 engine that'll race from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.

The customizable roof can be painted or made from carbon fiber or glass.

The Pagani Huayra is named after the God of Winds in Quechua, so you know it has speed and power. The Italian sports car has a V12 engine with two turbochargers that give the Huayra 620 horsepower.

The agile Ferrari 458 Spider can reach a top speed of 199 mph, thanks to its seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Spider version of this Ferrari 458 weighs 55 pounds less because of its aluminum retractable hardtop roof, too.

Unveiled in 2013, the Rolls-Royce Wraith is a four-seat coupe that produces a massive 624 horsepower.

While it won't get great gas mileage, the Bentley Mulsanne is one of the most luxurious cars around. The British-made automobiles are made almost entirely by hand with a crew of 3,600 workers. The car takes about 12 weeks to manufacture.

The Ghost was named after the first automobile that Rolls-Royce sold in 1906, the Silver Ghost. Of course, the sedan has improved immensely in the last century, with upgrades that include massage chairs, infrared night vision and a nitrous-oxide injection system.
